Each exercise is made up of a sufficient amount of questions to learn a specific aspect of the language. When you give the right answer (in time), the computer puts away the question which won't come up again. However, if you give the wrong answer or take too much time, you not only lose a life, but also the computer will "remember" that specific questions and will ask you again and again until you learn it.
You have 3 options: "rápido" (fast), "normal" and "despacio" (slow). The computer calculates the time for each answer depending on how many characters you have to type. So, you'll have a lot of time if you have to type "los alemanes son rubios", but you'll have only a few seconds if the answer is "ir".
You start the game with 3 lives (3 Spanish flags). You lose your lives when you make a mistake, you take too much time to answer, or you don't answer. There are 3 kinds of mistakes:
Be careful! If you make a BIG mistake and take too much to answer you will be killed immediately.
The game ends when you lose all your lives and the computer shows you the score and the percentage that you have accumulated. This means that you don't have to start from the beginning when you play again. The computer will show you only the questions you haven't answered yet, and those you didn't answered correctly to. When you answer correctly to all the questions, the game finishes and the computer congratulates with you !!
