Spanish Colors
Colors, like any other adjectives in Spanish, agree with the noun in gender and number. That's why it's very imortant that you learn and practice how to use they correcty.
First learn the basic form of Spanish colors, using the masculine and singular form:
- azul
- verde
- marrón
- anaranjado (some people use: naranja)
- amarillo
- rojo
- rosado (some people use: rosa)
- morado
- negro
- gris
- blanco
TRICK Nº 1: Add "s" or "es" to make the plural:
- azules
- verdes
- marrones
- anaranjados
- amarillos
- rojos
- rosados
- morados
- negros
- grises
- blancos
TRICK Nº 2: Make the feminine form - ONLY COLORS ENDING IN "O" - Other colors remain the same
- anaranjada
- amarilla
- roja
- rosada
- morada
- negra
- blanca
TRICK Nº 3: Make the feminine and plural form by adding an "s"
- anaranjadas
- amarillas
- rojas
- rosadas
- moradas
- negras
- blancas
